About the Role
We are looking for an analyst who bridges field operations and the business side. You will turn public, operational and equipment data into ranked target lists, maps and dashboards that sales, operations, business development and leadership teams use to make decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain SQL databases and ETL (extract, transform, load) pipelines that pull public and operational data repositories (e.g., Texas RRC, EPA ECHO) into a single source for analysis.
- Analyze turbine SCADA data, equipment condition, and fluid samples to support maintenance and reliability decisions.
- Work with field, engineering, operations and sales teams to explain the numbers and drive action.
- Create reference maps of operators, wells, facilities, and other physical assets using PostGIS.
- Support technical sales with proposals, competitor research and CRM data (HubSpot, Apollo.io).
- Develop Power BI and HTML dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Qualify and rank prospects to support sales teams.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in oil and gas field operations, renewables, business development or data analytics.
- Experience turning messy data into clear decisions for non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, MBA, or related technical field.
- Strong SQL (PostgreSQL) and working Python skills (AI-assisted coding).
Preferred Qualifications
- CRM and sales tools (HubSpot, Apollo.io) and website tools (Hostinger).
- Field experience at the wellsite (e.g., MWD field engineer).
- Wind turbine fleet reliability experience.
- GIS experience (PostGIS, QGIS).
- MBA.
